For the installation in buildings in particular solid-borne noise shall be prevented.Galvanized pipe clips with threaded connection including 9 mm solid rubber insert shall be used as fastening material.All materials required for fastening shall be provided with sufficient corrosion protection.Installation of the pipelines shall be coordinated with the heating,refrigeration,compressed air and electric routes.
Air pipelines designed as ducts shall be made of galvanized steel sheet with a wall thickness of 0.6 mm.The connections shall be made of flat flanges with a strip of foamed material in between.Flexible heavy canvas sockets shall be mounted for disconnecting solid-borne noise and to accept thermal stresses.The fasteners shall be sufficiently protected against corrosion (steel galvanized) and provided with solid-borne noise separating inserts.
In areas with specific fire prevention requirements,the ventilation pipelines shall be jacketed by a fire prevention lining.The design shall be admitted only with the appropriate approval.
The ventilation ducts are to be insulated up to the user.
The outer ducts shall be insulated and provided with a weather-resistant aluminium sheet cladding.The roof openings shall be made by means of a circumferential sheet metal flange such that the roof ceiling can be fastened.
