In the movie ’Bend it like Beckham’ by Gurinder Chadha,I admire Jess.There are many visual features which show Jess’s true nature.The change in lighting,the camera shots,clothing and music help the viewers to decide she is a loyal,lively and clever girl.
The first thing that makes we admire in Jess is she want to follow her dream.At the beginning of the movie,the director shows Jess’s dream,playing football with her idol,David Beckham.After that the cream changes to Jess’s bedroom,the decoration of Jess’s badroom is the photo of David Beckham and his football clothes.They are important because they show how Jess want to follow her dream.Also they are importamt because they help the viewers know a lot about her dream.
The second thing that makes we admire in Jess is she don’t want to lay to her family.When Jess play football in the park,the director use a cut shot to show she play really well,then Jess’s mother find that she is still play football,her mother say that she do not want her daughter play football and show her leg to a lot of man,then Jess say she will not play football in the park any more and she will play in the girls team.The cream change to the India god ‘Baba’.They are important because they show Jess do not lay when she see’ Baba’ and she do not want lay to her family even she play football very well.Also they are important they make the viewers to decide she is a loyal girl.
The last thing that makes we admire in Jess is she very listen to her family.At near the end of the movie,Jess stops every training and ready for her sister wedding.The cream always keeps changing between Jess and the train of the football team and the director choose the India music to run this park of the music.They are important because they show she still want to be a good daughter of her family,ready to study university and to be a layer.Also they are important because they show the viewers she has a great job for a daughter should do.
In the movie ‘Bend it like Beckham’ by Gurinder Chadha,I admire jess because she a good football player and daughter,the loyal to her family,the great skill of football and the insist for following her dream.
