Visiting My Friend
This afternoon I went to see my friend Liu Ying. She has been ill for three days and this morning she felt even worse, so her father took her to the hospital. The doctor examined her carefully and said it was nothing serious. She got a common cold,but she had better stay in bed for two or three days. After taking some medicine she felt much better.
Liu Ying looked still worried. She was afraid of missing her lessons. I told her not to worry. I could help her with her lessons.I hope she will be all right and keep up with others.

It’s Sunday morning .My mother and I are gong to the park. There are a lot of people in the park. Some children are running. A dog is running after them . Four women are sitting there They are talking. Two girls are playing with a big bal near them ..Three old men are standing under a big tree. They are watching the children. There is a river there. Many young people are dancing near it. There is a boat on the river. And an old man is sitting in the goat. He is dishing.
Everyone in the park is having a good time. We are having a good time, too.

Everybody is eager to be a successful person in his life. But not all people can always succeed. People who are lazy and want to succeed only by daydreaming can hardly succeed. A successful person must possess some good characters, such as diligence, strong will, perseverance, etc. He must keep on learning and make himself a capable person. Water Pollution
We can’t live without water, but now many rivers are polluted. Hundreds of dead fish can be found on the surface of Haihe because of serious pollution. It is dangerous to drink such water.Besides Haihe, there are other rivers like this.
People come to know the seriousness of water pollution. Our government is taking measures to protect the rivers against pollutions. Peopie also try their best to protect rivers and keep them clean.

An English Class
We got the news before the English class that some foreign teachers from a middle school in New York would visit our class. We felt excited and nervous.
The bell rang and the foreign teachers came into the classroom. They spoke to us in English one by one. They spoke English clearly and slowly. A woman teacher came to my desk, with a smile on her face. "Hello! Nice to meet you! "she said friendly. I answered her. Then she asked me some simple questions. We talked With each other for a while. "Your English is very good,"she said. I thanked her and felt very happy. Then I decided to study English harder than before.
Smoking
It’s quite dangerous for us to smoke. Smokers only wanted to try it at first. But they smoke more and more, and when they want to give it up, they can’t. The habit is so strong that it is very hard to get rid of. Some people have got cancers. Some of them die of it. No one likes to stay together with smokers for a long time.Their family suffer from smoking.

My favourite teacher is my English teacher Ms Cai.Her English name is Mae. She is a beautiful lady. She is very humorous. But sometimes she is very strict with us. But all classmates love and respect her very much. After class she often helps us learn patiently. I like my English teacher,because I think she is the best teacher in the world.

Youthful Times
Time flies when we are having fun is an old expression. We know, as we reminisce of our past, time flies regardless.
As we grow beyond our teenage. We remember the times of fun we had when we were young, when we were in primary school. We had little concern, little responsibilities. We all remember chasing our friends in catch, sneaking around in hide-and-seek and the fun in the playground.
As we grow with time, our lives become filled with stress and worries. It is in these times we remember what we had, what we took for granted. As we do so, we look forward to what we can achieve and what we will see of ourselves years down the tracks.
