＝The hotel （which/that）we stayed at during our holidays stands by the side of lake.

在定语从句中,当介词后置放在了动词后面,介词不放在that/which/who/whom等前面时,用whom,who ,which,that 都可以.但是,紧跟在介词后面指人时用:介词＋whom(不能用who),紧跟在介词后面指物时用:介词＋which(不能用that).而且当介词后置同时whom/who/that/which在定语从句中做宾语时,which/whom/that/who还可以省略.
