I agree.The purpose of a course is to teach students knowledge and methods of study,but not to teach them how to get a good job.
More and more students today major in business related areas only because they want to get a well-paid job.This is really a sad thing.People should distinguish learning knowledge from getting a job.A management course is designed to teach its students the basic principles of the science of management,the methods used in management science,and the applications of the knowledge of management.Through learning all of these,a student can gain a better understanding of the science of management.Only after this,can a student apply what he/she has learned in the course in his/her daily work,and try their best to get their desired positions,like managers.So the course itself should never be designed to teach students how to be a manager,or otherwise it will lose its original goal as a course.
