Canada asked for the panel of experts to investigate the truth of the following:⑴ PROEX balance interest rate subsidies in installments or a lump sum in the form of lump-sum grant.⑵ PROEX balance interest rate subsidies have been given to Brazil 120 aircraft and ERJ-145 aircraft transactions.⑶ since January 1,1995 Brazil has increased PROEX and BEFIEX expenses,so the level of export subsidies in Brazil since that date has also improved.⑷ As of December 31,2002,Brazil will not be phased out PROEX and BEFIEX,which is Brazil's export subsidies.
