China's entry into the WTO (World Trade Organization) and participation in the economic globalization process is the current focus of people's attention and discussion.The concept of globalization was first put forward in 1986 by S.Austley,the former chief economist of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.It may refer to economic,cultural and political globalization in a wide sense,but generally it refers to the globalization of the economy.It means the growth rate of economic opening and the deepening of the interdependence and reliance of different countries in the world economy.People have different views on the advantages and disadvantages of China's entry into the WTO.Some people think that the entry into the WTO will lead to the opening of the country and the destruction of the national economy caused by foreign economy.Some people believe that the entry into the WTO is equivalent to embarking on a road covered with flowers.In fact,the WTO is a "double-edged sword" and the accession to the WTO is both an opportunity and a challenge to China's clothing industry,the opportunity outweighing the challenge.This paper,starting from the development of China's Clothing industry after entering the WTO,first makes an analysis of the current situation of China's clothing industry after entering the WTO.It then makes a study of the positive and negative impacts on China's clothing industry after its entry into the WTO.Finally,in accordance with the above analysis,it tries to find out the existing problems in China's clothing industry after its entry into the WTO and the solutions to these problems.
