The reason I choose to study aboard
When I was travelling through Tibet and Nepal this summer,I met many foreigners,and sometimes I became a foreigner.Although we had the same interests in the culture of Tibet and Nepal,some viewpoints are very different.I was totally shaken in mind,and after long time talking and sometimes even arguing,I find it is impossible to change each other's mind just by talking because the world we live are so different.
That's why I choose the way to apply to American universities.I don't care much about what major I will study in USA and what diploma I will get.In fact,I can get a good job and easy life if I stay in China after graduate from Tsinghua with a master degree.Life will be beautiful if I stay in China and the life is unknown if I go to USA to pursue a phD degree,maybe several years of suffering,maybe I come back China with nothing while my classmates staying China already have successful enterprise and very comfortable life.
However,I still choose to go aboard.Not only because I can learn more in study experience,but also because I want to talk with others in the world,to see what they see,to feel what they feel and to life where they live,then I can understand what they are thinking by standing in other's place,not like just arguing who is right and who is wrong with limited background in China.
I hope my mind to be more opening,to understand people all over the world better although they are so different.Feeling like that must be very good.After all,we are all human being,there is no obstacle to understand each other well except different backgrounds.
