你这个例子里 because的用法没有什么问题.不过还是有语病,动词重复了（do 和is）,又没有从句结构,is 需要去掉,逗号后面并列的结构（not……but……）同样也不需要it is这个主谓结构,直接because引导原因状语从句修饰do not repair就可以了.
