1.请大家看看下面的句子中的him是不是用错了得用her
I shall tell him to wait for you when she comes.
2.Is this research center (the one where) you visited the modern machines last year?这里为什么要用the one where 而不用where
3.The farmer used wood to build a house (in which ）to store grain.为什么用in which 而不用where
我知道对于高手来说这不算什么,但我英语太差希望大哥大姐们帮帮忙小弟不甚感激!呵呵

1.可以这么用的 ,是指不同的人（此处是不同性别的人）,可翻译为：她到的时候我肯定会让他等你的.不过,这里用him比较合符常理,意思就是：他来的时候我会告诉他让他等你的.
2.the one 特指前面的 research center ,表示强调就是那个研究中心.本人感觉这里面可以用where,也可以省略不用.如：Is this research center the one （in which）you visited the modern machines last year?
3.因为后面是不定式,house的作用是用来store grain的,即 store grain in the house,where 只表示地点,后不能直接跟不定式.
