方言学界一般把广西北部的官话划作西南官话桂柳片区,柳州方言属桂柳片的一支.柳州方言虽属北方方言,但是受粤方言和居住柳州地区的各少数民族方言影响,柳州方言的词法和句法都呈现出与普通话甚至是与西南官话不同的语法现象.词法方面主要是构词词缀、虚词(副词、助词、介词等)和重叠形式的差异,句法方面主要是祈使句、被动句、疑问句(是非问、特指问、反复问)和语序等方面的差异,本文分六节讨论柳州市市区方言的语法特点.

Dialect educational circles generally changed the mandarin language of north Guangxi to mandarin language of southwest Guiliu. The dialect of Guiliu is under the category of the dialect of Guiliupian. Although Guizhou's dialect is under the category of dialect of north, it is influenced by Cantonese dialect and those minority dialects in guizhou. The morphology and the sentencing of Guizhou's dialect are different with the normal mandarin language and also the mandarin language of southwest. The differences in morphology
are mainly on the morphological affix, function word like adverbial,auxiliary,preposition and lots more and overlapping between the words. The differences in sentencing mainly are on imperative sentence, passive sentence, questioning sentence such as disputing question, particular question, repeat question and the arrangement of the word in the sentence.
