企业社会责任,是指企业对所有者、员工、消费者、社会 等利益相关者以及自然环境承担责任,以实现企业与经济社会可持续发展的协调统一.企业社会责任运动,兴起于上个世纪80年代的西方发达国家.从90年代至今,随着经济全球化进程的不断深入,形成了持续发展的国际潮流.企业社会责任在我国也逐渐被重视,我国各大公司开始把社会责任上升为公司战略,视其为公司核心业务运作的重要组成部分.虽然企业社会责任在中国面临着非常特殊的制约因素,但这些制约因素是可消除的,但是这个消除的过程中单靠企业不够,还要靠政府、社会、媒体和公众的参与.
