读了一下原文也读不懂,散文本来就高深,英文散文更高深,吼吼.
不过看了全文,讲的就是在农场的所见所闻,所以肯定rooster就是公鸡.然后全文都围绕着silence,且silence就是指“沉默”或“寂静”的意思.
