It's so hard to kill the guy in the room.
in the room是修饰the guy,还是作为kill的地点状语?还是两者都有可能?
也就是,这句话的意思是 1 很难做掉房间里的那个男孩还是2 在房间里做掉那个男孩可不容易

其实两种理解都可以.
因为状语的位置所以造成理解混淆.
这个只能根据上下文来分析了.
其实我感觉第二种理解更贴切.因为in the room 更加强调动作发生在房间里,如果是人在房间里的话,通常用in,但是这也不是规则,所以说两种理解都对.
