我去拜访他时他碰巧不在,为什么要这样说：He happened to be out when I went to visit him.
我知道碰巧的短语是happen to do ,为什么不在要填be out?是固定短语吗?还是根据什么填be out的呢?（疑惑）

e out就是说他不在啊,是固定短语,这没什么问题啊
