Keeping Animals in Captivity Is Inhuman
People love to keep animals as pets because they tend to think they can make friends with them and their pet friends will make them happy and satisfied. But I think keeping animals in captivity is inhuman and also not sanitary.
Firstly, animals should live outdoors instead of indoors, and this has always been the case since long time ago. Animals’ nature is running and hunting in the wild world. By keeping them in human’s captivity, we are breaching the nature’s law of survival of the fittest. Once the animals that have gotten used to humans’ captivity have to leave us and live by themselves, they will get lost and starve to death, simply because they have lost their natural skills of finding food.
Secondly, keeping animals in captivity is disrespect for them. Life is created equal. Animals also should have the right to live a free life. By keeping animals our pets, we make them our slaves and toys, and this is totally unacceptable. I think we should set them free and make them live equally as humans.
Thirdly, keeping animals at home will surely demands some space, so our living space will be affected. Some people just do not get enough space for themselves and if they keep animals as pets, their own space will be taken by the animals.
Fourthly, keeping animals at home is unsanitary and sometimes even dangerous. We have to be cautious if we have pet animals at home because animals spread diseases and they do not go to the bathroom. Sometimes they make our homes dirty and messy. If we get bitten by them, we should also go to the hospital for treatment. It there are children in the house, we should keep an eye on them because they could easily get hurt by the animals and this is not what we want.
In a word, keeping animals in captivity is something we should not do as humans.
