What is diversity?Diversity is the fact of being different or varied.That’s why our world always provides us with new senses.
Unity is the foundation of diversity,and diversity is the expanding of unity.But we can’t discuss one without the other.Unity will be meaningless without diversity.So is diversity.Take the European Union as an example.Let’s assume that there is no unity in EU,each member country just seeks for its own profit freely,no laws or regulations restraining them.I think a local war may break out at last.On the contrary,I can’t imagine a world without diversity.Just imagine that all the countries look the same and people act the same way.How horrible!
In my opinion,the only solution to such kind of horrible scene is building up a harmonious atmosphere within EU,which is the result of keeping the balance of unity and diversity.In other words,the essence of unity and diversity lies in harmony.That is the reason why Chinese government is putting a lot of emphasis on the importance of harmonious society,in which economy will be prosperous,life quality will be much higher,people with different races,skin colors,cultures,and dispositions will get along well with each other.Maybe the local opera my grandmother loved so much will delight the foreign ears.
Unity and diversity are the most vital seeds in the world.They will lose vitality unless they are planted together,enjoy the sunlight together,enjoy rainwater together,and enjoy the nutrient together.Their flowers must be the most beautiful in the world.Also she has an extremely sweet name.
