我的疑问是第一句中"way"与之后面的"it watches and tracks airborne flying fish"是什么关系.
如果是同位语从句,那他们中间的that不应该省略啊,再说同位语从句里面的内容应该“剧透”才对,也没见剧透.
宾语从句的可能性感觉也不大,因为后面这个句子也不缺什么成分.

后面的部分是同位语从句,修饰the way.that并不是不可省略的,相反,被阉掉的情况更多.
