Recently there has been an increase in the internet cafe in Thailand and there are a lot of the internet cafe users, who are interesting in the internet cafe. This research aims to survey the behavior of the internet cafe users and their opinions about the internet cafe. Is it true that the internet cafe can make a social problem? And how about the kidnapping problem on the internet?
In the internet cafe, there are various kinds of purpose that users can do. For example, some users play the internet, some users type a report, while some users play computer games. However, in the situation under consideration in this paper the users were surveyed their opinions about controlling the internet cafe by the law too.
The internet was born about 20 years ago. In term of Physically, the internet is a lot of computers connected to each other. In term of a resource, people general say that the internet is the biggest library in the world. We can get every kind of information any time and anywhere if the computer is on-line (Kelly and Nicholas 1996).
In the past 8 years ago there were 1 million users, but now there are over 70 million users in more than 100 countries to access and exchange information. These people use the internet for their daily work and play.
During the last five years, the internet cafe is very popular and there are a lot of internet cafes in Thailand. The internet has many advantages something like searching for information or doing a business. But on the other hand, the internet has many disadvantages too, something like the nude web site problem or the security problem. Those problems can grow up to a social or criminal problem.
In the past 8 years ago there Last month, the problem about the internet cafe was very serious. There was a man who was 22 years old. He came to the internet cafe in Chiangmai and played computer game for 48 hours. In the next day, he died in front of a computer by heart attacked. The detail is given in the appendix. According to the internet cafe's problem, the government decided to control the internet cafe by the law.
