Today I do not regret,nor am I ashamed of having been poor.My grandma was my first friend and she taught me how to love.My grandma’s house is still exactly the same; the couch I used to rest on is still covered with the same blanket.Since I started school and moved away,my visits are less frequent.My grandmother has been living alone for a very long time.She likes to be in her home full of memories instead of living in the present.Recently we tried to get her to move out of her house,but she wouldn’t.I wish she could realize that her memories aren’t in her house,but in her heart.
