请问both of them为什么错了?
THere are two kinds of computers there,both of them are widely used today.
我觉得前面有了there are 后面的there是错的,是重复表达在这里的意思,但是答案说both of them是错的.我不太明白这是为什么?

There are 表示特殊句型结构,是“某地有某物”这个句型结构,后面的there表示在那里.前面的there和后面的there分别有不同的意思,所以并不是重复的表达.
逗号前面已经是完整的句子,后面再用一个完整的句子在英文中是不行的,叫做“不间断句”,是一种错误,因此后半句要改为从句,从属于前面的句子.
both of which引导一个非限定性定语从句,对主句进行补充说明.
