When it comes to a job selection,the most contributing factor differs one person to another.Some people may choose a job with high pressure and little for promotion in the near future depending on the amount of income,while others may decide to get certain job since it has a relaxing working environment.To me,I’d like to choose a job that provides reasonable pay with modest but steady annual increase and involves a relaxing working environment.
To begin with,I think the phrase "Money isn't everything" is a severe understatement.When it come to me,I prefer to work in a relaxing environment happily rather than having high paying but to work with high pressure.We must know that,the degree of happiness with a job determines a worker's tenure.The more one is satisfied with his/her job,the longer he/she will remain his/her job position.Accordingly,satisfaction derived from work itself makes a person stay the job longer.
In addition,Life is too short to spend 40+ hours a week doing something you hate,or in another word,it’s terrible to spend more than 40 hours a week with high pressure.Work with high pressure won’t bring happiness to you,on the contrary it may do harm to your health.You may spend a lot of money on your health,which is more a loss than gain.
To sum up,what really matters in choosing a job is the degree of one's happiness with his/her job.Despite a relaxing working environment is likely to make you feel happy,but a high pressure work will make you feel unhappy absolutely.worker's tenure is longer if a worker is satisfied with his/her job,moreover a person is less stressed out since he/she finds his/her job interesting.This is a virtuous circle.So I’d like to choose a job that provides reasonable pay with modest but steady annual increase and involves a relaxing working environment.
