Misspelling Hurts
I didn't pay attention to spelling because I thought it's not necessary.However,there was one time when I misspelled a word,trouble happened.In my English essay,I was trying to write:"I cherish the things I have," but instead I wrote "I perish the things I have." "Cherish" means to care for,while "perish" means to kill.Although they're just one letter away from each other,the meaning differs greatly.Therefore,the whole meaning changed from I love the things I have to I hate the things I have.I didn't mean to kill them at all I promise,but my teacher insist that I do hate them in a great deal.From then on,I started to pay extra attention on spelling in order that I won't misspell and cause misunderstanding.
