tement? Children should spend most time playing and studying and should not required to help the family with household chores like cooking and cleaning. In 2003 years in China, most of parents have only one child, and the parents see their child as a gift from the God. Moreover,they think the most important thing of children is to study well and have a good future.For these reasons, people gradually believe that Children should spend most time playing and studying instead of doing the housework.As far as I am concerned, I disagree with the statement for three reasons. First of all, because a couple has just one child, the family will spoil the only child and not to required the child to help the family with the household chores.I think the overlove maybe have a bad influence for the children in the future, because the parents deprive the ability of the independence of children. When the kids grow up, they cannot look after themselves in the daily life and there is no longer have somebody to help him or her. Second,because the marketing is more and more competetive, the parents believe that the children will have a good future as long as they have a great grade in the study.The parents think that doing the household chores is in vain, but I do not think so. In my opinion,through doing the housework the children can deeply understand how their parents hard and increse the relationship with the familimembers.Moreover, the children also can acquire how to do the teamwork with others by the household chores. In addition, doing the household chores are a way to relax from the hard study as the playing and it also can induce the bound of their parents.
