The man has not always been the spouse who works.Many men now stay at home part of the time.They help to take care of the children and the house.Since the man does not always earn all the money(or any of it,in some cases),both the man and the woman may pay the bills.The man is not the most important person in the house.He may share many important decisions with the woman,and sometimes with the children.
More and more women have been working.They may earn more money to help their husbands.In some cases,the woman earns all of the money,and the man stays at home to take care of the children and the house.In this way,the woman and the man reverse their traditional roles.(280 words)
