在英语的听、说、读、写四项技能中,听力对其他三项技能的提高起着关键性的作用.听不仅是人们进行言语交际的重要手段之一,也是学习英语的重要途径.毋庸置疑听力在英语的学习中占着重要地位,也是衡量一个人语言交流能力的重要标准.从近几年国内英语教学来看,教师对学生听力学习的重视程度仍然远远不够,所以在本文中我对如何培养学生的听力理解能力、锻炼他们的英语思维、提高英语听力水平这一些列问题进行了细致的研究.其中着重分析制约学生英语听力水平提高的主要障碍,其中包括词汇、语音障碍、语法障碍、语速障碍、听力习惯障碍和文化背景知识障碍等,并提出了克服听力障碍及培养听力技能和提高听力学习兴趣的具体方法,本文强调掌握牢固的语言知识、文化背景知识、培养良好的学习习惯可以有效的帮助学生提高英语听力技能.除了学生自身方面外,老师也有责任帮助学生树立自信心,加强听说、听写、听读及视听训练,使学生养成良好的听力习惯,以达到从根本上提高学生听力能力的目的.
