随着国际贸易的快速发展，带动了世界经济的快速增长。我国自从加入WTO后，对外贸易在飞速地增长，但是，这是以牺牲环境作为代价的。落后的科学技术以及不完善的贸易制度致使国际贸易与环境造成冲突，造成了严重的环境污染问题。因此，我国需要改变当今的国际贸易方式以及完善国际贸易的制度。本文首先分析了当前国际贸易的格局以及我国国际贸易的方式，然后对我国环境污染的现状进行分析，从而总结国际贸易与我国环境污染的影响。最后从出口、进口这两方面对我国环境污染影响进行实证分析。基于国际贸易给我国造成严重的环境污染，本人在深入调查研究的基础上，提出几点建议：（1）建立健全的环境保护法律制度。（2）政府需要增加对环境保护的投资。（3）加大绿色科技的投入（4）优化我国进出口贸易的结构。

With the rapid development of international trade, the world's economy has grown rapidly. Since joining the WTO, China has been experiencing rapid growth in foreign trade, however, at the expense of our environment. The lagging behind in scientific technology and imperfect competitive market structure gives rise to various environmental problems, including pollution. Therefore, it's time for China to call for a change and to get an upper hand in international trade. This paper reviews the existing international trade regime, China's involvement as a trading partner, and the current status our environmental pollution. An analysis will be provided to summarize the impact of international trade on China's environmental pollution. The ecological footprint of both imports and exports will be evaluated with empirical analysis. An extensive research has been conducted, which sheds lights on the close relationship between expansion in international trade and the rise serious environmental pollution, suggestions are provided as follows: (1) a sound legal system for environmental protection should be established; (2) government investment on environmental protection should be increased; (3) investment in green technology should be promoted; and (4) China's trade structure should be optimized, for both imports and exports.
