Abstract
Ernst-August Gutt’s Relevance Translation Theory is based on Relevance theory proposed by Dan Sperber and Deirdre Wilson,which provides a more unified theoretical framework and opens up a unique new perspective for the translation study.Fortress Besieged was written by Qian Zhongshu,and is widely considered as one of the masterpieces of twentieth century Chinese literature.The novel is a humorous tale about middle-class Chinese society in the late 1930s.It is also one of the most well-known contemporary novels in China.Qian Zhongshu was a literary scholar and writer,known for his burning wit and formidable erudition.Relevance theory,as a translation approach plays an important role in humorous translation Firstly,the thesis will introduce relevance theory which is the main approaches to humorous translation in the English version.On the basis of that,it will analyze the translatability and untranslatability of humor.At last,illustrations applied in the novel will be analyzed.To analyze humor translations in the English version,with a view to proving the explanatory power of Relevance Translation Theory on humor translation.

摘要
Ernst．August Gutt在Dan Sperber和Deirdre Wilson的关联理论基础一上提出了关联翻译理论,给翻译研究提供了一个较为统一的理沦框架,为译学研究开辟了独特的新视角.《围城》的作者是钱钟书,它也被称为中国二十世纪文学里面的代表作.小说讲了二十世纪三十年代中国社会中一个关于中产阶级的幽默故事.《围城》这部小说也是中国近代最出名的作品之一.钱钟书是一名文学大师和作家,因为他的睿智和令人惊叹的学识著称.论文第一部分将介绍在译本中幽默翻译的主要翻译方法—关联理论.在这基础之上,论文将分析幽默的可翻译性和不可翻译性.最后将分析文中的具体例子.分析其中幽默话语的翻译现象,旨在证明关联翻译理论对幽默话语翻译具有充分的解释力.
