I'm doing some research on inequalities between women and men recently,a very important problem I must face is the "segregated economic roles "for men and women,could anyone list such kind of roles for me?many thanks!

In America, gender segregation most prominently exists in work places. studies show that women are 20% less likely to find a job in a professional setting. Women also get paid 25% less than men for doing the same job. So why is there this inequality? Several answers were obtained in interviews with firms that were sexist: women are still considered by many as unstable, moody, and firms are concerned with pregnancy leave.
