3) RATES - All rates must be declared on both cargo manifest & Bill of lading as its is a mandatory filed on SISCARGA System.
Important to emphasize that origin rates such freight,THC,Peak Season or any other,must be duly declared,otherwise,government can consider that information is being omitted,consequently fraud.
4) NCM - consists in 8 numbers and only the first 4 digits are mandatory to SISCARGA.Example NCM 1234.5647 => only 1234 will be input on SISCARGA.
Origin station must receive from shippers all information and we recommend that cargo is not shipped unless NCM is declared
We strongly recommend that a special field on the origin system is created in order to standardize NCM input and to easy EDI transmissions.100% of NCM information accuracy is needed.
NCM is related to the CARGO TYPE,ie,for each separate commodity loaded into the container,there will be a separate NCM code.
5) CNPJ - is the number that identifies all companies on Brazil.
Example:00.000.000/0000-00 (14 numbers)
