Strange experience no my way home
An interesting thing happened to me last Sunday.It was such a beautiful day that I decided to drive in the country.
On my way home,my car stopped.I was out of gasoline on a road away from a town.I decided to walk along the road until I found someone who could sell me some gasoline.
I had walked almost a mile before I finally found a big house near the road.I was pleased to see it because it was getting dark.
I knocked on the door and a “small” old lady with long white hair answered .She said,“I’ve been waiting for you for a long time.Come in ,please.I got tea ready for you.”
“But I’ve come here only for some gasoline” I answered .I didn’t know what he was talking about.I didn’t understand her.
“Oh,Tony!Gasoline?You used to love tea.”
I quickly explained that my car was out of gasoline,but she didn’t seem to hear me .She just kept calling me Tony and talking about how long it had been since she had seen me.She was talking so strangely that I was anxious to leave.As soon as she went to get the tea,I went out of the house as fast as possible.
I was so happy when I saw another house by the road.I was able to get some gasoline.When I told the man about the old lady,he said,“Oh,that’s Hellen.She lives all by herself in that big house She’s strange,but she wouldn’t hurt anyone.She is still waiting for the man she was going to marry twenty-five years ago.The man was named Tony.The day before their wedding,he went away and never came back.’’

回家路上的奇遇
上个星期天在我身上发生了一件有意思的事.那天天特别好所以我决定去乡下开车旅行.
在返回的路上,我的车停了.没有汽油了,而且前不着村后不着店.我决定沿路步行,一直到找到能给我卖点汽油的人.
我步行了几乎1英里才在路边上找到一座大房子.我很高兴,因为这时候天已经要黑了.
我敲了敲门,一个留着长长白发的“小”老妇人开了门.她说：“我已经等了你好久了.请进!我给你准备了茶.”
“但是我只是来找汽油的.”我回答到.我完全不知道她是什么意思.我不明白她说什么!
“哦,托尼!汽油?你以前一直喜欢喝茶的.”
我马上解释说我的车没油了,但是她好像听不见我说的.她只是继续叫我托尼并且喋喋不休的说她有多长的时间没见过我了.她说的话如此奇怪令我急着想要离开.等到她去拿茶的时候,我立即以最快的速度跑出屋子.
当我在路边看到另一间屋子的时候我是那么的高兴.我终于能搞到些汽油了.当我跟屋里的男人谈起那个老妇人的时候,他说：“哦,那是海伦.她一个人在那大屋子里住.她很奇怪,但是她不会伤害任何人.她是在等她原先25年前要嫁的人.那个人叫托尼.在他们婚礼的前一天,他离开了,并且再也没有回来.”
