We find it difficult to believe that 5months have passed since we
embraced
the lands of China.So vivid are our memories of cultural experiences
and
the friendships we made.
The past 2 weeks I have spent sorting through memorabilia of the most
outstanding year of our lives.Since we returned to UK it has been our
intention to create travel-logs,initially,of the last 6 weeks we
spent in
China with our grandchildren Nichola and Haydn.I seemed to have a
mountain
of material to sift through---brochures,entrance tickets,and --an
excessive number of photographs.We wanted to create individual
travel-logs
as a Christmas gift for Nichola and Haydn --- this way we felt their
memories of China would be immortalised and always "on tap".I had not
anticipated how time-consuming the task of creating such portfolios
would
be!Cryptic comments for each photograph required much imagination!The
rewards,however were ten-fold!The joy we experienced sorting through
the
photographic images helped us to relive our times with you--we were in
China
again!We finished the compilations,late Christmas eve afternoon--just
in
time for Father Christmas`s collection!
