如何跟老外追究质量问题(英文邮件)
国外采购一个玻璃桶,包装没问题,打开后却发现里面很多细小裂纹,发邮件把情况告诉老外,对方回复,他也不清楚怎么回事.我该如何向老外说明情况并追究他们的责任呢

　　In the fall of 1996 I bought a Jones Radio,at ABC store in Springfield.The radio was sensitive,unpredictable.When it faltered,I would strike the side of the cabinet with my hand.This sometimes helped.One Sunday afternoon,in the middle of a Schubert quartet,the music faded away altogether.I struck the cabinet repeatedly,but there was no response;the Schubert was lost to us forever.
　　
　　We took it to a local repair shop;they told us that is was a factory defect and suggested that we take it to ABC.ABC accepted the machine.
　　
　　The radio was delivered the following afternoon.I turned it on,and sat down to listen to a quintet.The music came through clearly.But then,the interference began.A crackling sound like the noise of a burning powder fuse began to accompany the singing of the strings.And as the quintet progressed,the noise was joined by the rattling of the elevator cables,the ringing of telephone bells and the lamentation of vacuum cleaners.I tried all the dials and switches but nothing dimmed the interference,and I sat down,disappointed and bewildered.The ugly instrument was more than I could hope to master,so I turned the thing off.
　　
　　I took it back to ABC.They are no longer carrying your radio,but they assured us that the guarantte is still good and suggested that we write you for further instruction as to what steps to take.
