some people from other countries think that British people are very strange. As a matter of fact have some certain manners. They are very private and modest. They are not very talkative, but when they begin to talk they can do it for a long time. Don't ask them about their job or salary. It's impolite. They can criticize their country, but you should not do it in their presence. They don't like it. When you are introduced to an Englishman you should start with ,“How do you do? ” It's not polite to say, “Hi!” or “Hello!” to an older people.
They shake hands when they meet you only for the first time. When they part or meet you again, they don't do it. They just say “Good luck”, “Goodbye”,“Take care” or something like that . Don't forget to say, “Please” and “Thank”.
Use a fox,a knife and a napkin when you eat. Put a napkin on your knees. Don't hurry when you wat. If you want to smoke ,say“May I smoke here?” When you finish eating, thank you host pr hostess for the food.
A real Engilshman never jumps the queue in shops or at the bus stop. They don't pushi each other in the street or in a shop,They say,“Excuse me”when they want to pass by. When you sneeze they always wish your good health saying,“Bless you.”British people love their country and sometimes are very snobbish.But on the whole they're very nice.
It's very important to know about British manners if you want to go to the UK.But as one can notice these manners are the same in most European countries.

一个真正的英国绅士在商店或者汽车站是从来不会插队的.他们不会在大街上或者商场里互相推挤.当他们想要通过的时候会说“抱歉”.当你打喷嚏的时候,他们总会说着“上帝保佑你”来祝愿你健康.英国人热爱他们的国家有时也很势力.但总之他们还是不错的.
如果你想要去英国的话,了解英国的习俗是十分重要的.但是如果一个人能注意这些习俗话,在大多说欧洲国家也会这样做的.
