The general welfare of a nation's people is a better indication of that nation's greatness than ARE the achievements of its rulees,artists,or scientists.
请问下这句话中的ARE 是不是多余的啊?好像去掉了也能说得通啊?如不是多余的话能不能讲讲理由啊?
