My name is Kai,the new intern from University of RXXXX,an international student from China.
I guess Andrew has already told you about me,the original schedule for intern is from 8:00am to 12:00am,Mon/Wed/Fri.I went to your office on Wednesday and Friday morning,but you was not there.However,I would like to start the work as soon as we make sure the schedule works for both you and me.Maybe we can set up a schedule via email?
Not like those high-school interns,as an educated and trained college student,I could be very helpful.And I really hope that there is a chance to let me be a good assistant for you.I am not requiring any specific work to do,just a chance of "watching and learning" would be very thankful.

I went to your office on Wednesday and Friday morning, but you was not there.我觉得on应该改为in,如果说on Friday应该可以,可是你后面多了一个morning,后面的was应该改为were.I could be very helpful.这半句中的could改为will比较合适,表示将来的愿望. And I really hope that there is a chance to let me be a good assistant for you. 我觉得可以改为And i really hope that there will be a chance for me to be a good assistant for you. just a chance of "watching and learning" would be very thankful. just 应该去掉,would改为will.
