want sth done 中含被动语态,意思是想sth被怎样;want sth 完全是个主动语态,即想(要)什么.
举个例子 I want meat.意思我想(吃)肉.
I want meat cooked .意思是我希望别人来把肉做熟.
这里就是want what done就是想（要）what被完成,谁呢to yourself,被你自己完成.也就是己所欲.
如果want to do,就是想去做,而不是被完成.
