“How can I be successful?” Almost everyone has asked this question. Except talent I think we should possess these personalities.
First, we should have passion for your job or mission. “The interest is the best teacher.” If we don’t have the passion in our job we may not do it carefully and then we won’t be successful. So we should choose a job or mission that we are interested in and then do it.
Second we should be confident and courage. Confidence is one of the most important personalities. If we are always pessimistic, we may make more mistakes or we even don’t have the courage to accept the challenge. All our dreams can come true----if we have the courage to pursue them. So we should try our best to be confident. We can always smile at ourselves in the mirror and we can often say to own self,“You can do it well.”These may help us to be full of confident. But remember be confident doesn’t equal to be conceited.
Third, we should possess perseverance. Where there’s will there’s a way. When we meet some difficulties that we can’t solve them easily, we can’t flinch or even give up. We must face to them and fight with them. There is no education like adversity. In the adversity, we can say this to ourselves “If we had no winter, the spring wouldn’t be pleasant; if we didn’t sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.” This sentence may help us to possess perseverance. When we work hard to fight for a goal but we don’t achieve our aim we can’t give up. “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” We can choose different ways to solve them----to build our “Rome”. When our will is not strong, you can say this famous sentence to ourselves,“Perseverance will win the day.”
Then diligence is another important personality. With patience and time constant dropping wears the stone and mulberry-leaf becomes silk gown. If we are not diligence, we just rely on the talent we can’t be competent at the job. Practice makes perfect. We should work hard and find the best way by way of practice. Diligence is the mother of success.
If we possess these personalities: have enough passion for our job, be confident, be diligence, possess courage, possess perseverance and have a flair for our job we may achieve success.
