My opinion on cleaning the plates
Dining culture can be very different from country to country. An obvious part of dining culture is the dining utensils. In the would one third of people use their hands to serve food to their mouths directly, another one third of people use forks and knives to serve their meal while the last one third of people use chopsticks to serve their meal. The common part for all the people is that almost all people use a plate to take food. How much food people put on plate depends on the culture and occasions. In Chinese tradition it is common ten or more people share a table with different dishes. It is really nice to enjoy the nice meal while chatting with friends or relatives. However, the big problem is many people believe it is rude to clear the food on a plate, which results in a huge waste of food and resources. It is said more than 300 billion RMB are wasted because of the wasted food. Relative laws and regulations are urgently needed to prevent food waste.The law should force people to think before they waste food. They need to order what they can have or take the leftover with them for next meal.
