Is there any way of maintaining 2 UoM separately in the material document with no ratio between them,so that it would be up to the user to state how much stock was being deplenished/increased every time while using that batch in both UoM?When performing a stock movement for a batch,system should be able to record the stock posting in 2 UoM.Stock overview should be seem in both UoM.We tried unsuccessfully:o Alternative UoM while setting this in the material master,system requires a ratio (eg 1 BOX = 1 TON) and will stick to that ratio when performing any GR.this doesn't allow us to do a GR for 1 BOX = 1,1 TON once and then 2 BOX = 1 TON.o Product UoM While performing a GR for 10 BOX containing 11 TON system calculates a ratio for the batch of 1,1 TON per BOX and all future stock movements will be performed using this ratio.This doesn't allow us to do a GI for 1,2 TON as this would break a BOX.Any hint would be greatly appreciated.dp

thank you Tiago!this would work fine in a scenario where the ratio "TON per BOX" is constant throughout the usage of that batch.that is not the case in our scenario.when we do the GR the ratio is 1.1 Ton/Box (this value is only an average of 110 TON divided by 100 BOX),but when scraping the ratio for 1 BOX in particular can be 1.2 or 1.05 or 1.0 or 0.9 Ton/Box (its very unlikely that 1 BOX will weight the average 1.1 figure!).the only 2 sollution so far are around:-update the ratio; do the GI to scrap; update again the ratio; post a dummy physical inventory document in MI10 to force the system to recognize the right amount in TON and BOX-create a batch characteristic "Qtty in BOX" and maintain the BOX figure there.this raises the risks of changing the batch characteristic without having a material document posted in TON.there seem to be no sollution to this scenario using standard SAP to have a Dual UoM system.again many thanks for your time and efforts.dp 查看原帖
