原文：A hungry Fox saw some fine bunches of Grapes hanging from a vine that was trained alonga high trellis,and did his best to reach them by jumping as high as he could into the air.
But it was all in vain ,for they were just out of reach:so he gave up trying,and walked away with an air of dignity and unconcern ,remaring ,"I thought those Grapes were ripe ,but I see now they are quite sour.

一只饥饿的狐狸看见几枝攀爬在高高的篱笆上的葡萄,为了能够着它们,狐狸用尽了全身力气向上跳去.
但都是徒劳的,因为它够不着,狐狸放弃了尝试,并且带着一副高傲的、漫不经心的表情离开了,评论到：我原以为这些葡萄是熟的,但现在我知道它们是酸的.

一只饥饿的狐狸看见一串串令人垂涎欲滴的葡萄,沿着高高的棚架垂挂下来,它用尽力气往上跳,想要摘下葡萄.
但它再怎么试也是徒劳无功,就是够不到葡萄,终于它放弃了,昂首阔步、毫不在乎地走了,边走还边说：“本来我还以为那些葡萄已经成熟了,现在看来根本就是酸的.”
翻译的是对的,可是按中文说法来,有些翻译的不太恰当
