A couple in the UK changed a public bathroom into their new home.The pubic bathroom is in the seaside town of Scarborough.It is on the beach.It is nearly 100 years old,but people closed it in the 1990s.
The couple,Woodhouse and Peck,rented（租）{it} from the town.They took out the toilets and put in new doors and windows.The couple did all the work themselves.They made the old toilet into a bathroom,a bathroom,a living room and a kitchen.The couple named their new house‘The Lookout'because it has a good view.
They both love their house.'Some people make jokes about it.At first they say things like,"Oh,you live in a toilet.“But we now have a lovely little house with the sea view.'said Woodhouse.'We understand the funny part.It makes us laugh too.Our TV set is where the men's toilet used to be,and our bedroom and bathroom were the ladies'.'
