夜里一个警察在巡逻,发现一个在等人的男子,于是过去询问,男子向警察诉说了二十年前跟朋友的约定,原来这名男子去了西部,现在回来赴约.警察跟西部来的男子闲聊一会就离开了.
过了一会,另一名男子来过来了,西部来的男子认出了他就是自己的朋友,于是二人闲聊起来,西部来的男子向后来的男子诉说了自己在西部的故事,但是在拐角处的一家药店西部来的男子认出了后来的男子不是他的朋友,后来的男子原来是一名警察,而西部来的男子是一个犯人,于是西部来的男子被捕了.警察交给犯人一张纸条,原来之前的警察才是他的朋友.

A policeman found a man waiting for someone at night,and asked the man .The man told the policeman that he had a aggrement with a friend 20 years ago,and he had been to the West and now kept the date.They talked for while and left.
After a while,another man came over,the man from the west recognized him,then they talked.The man from the west told his friend the story in the west,but the man from the west found the later was not his friend at the coner of the pharmacy.Then later turned out to be a policeman,and the man from the west was a prisoner.Then the man from the west was under arrest.The police gave the prisoner a piece of paper,the first policeman was his friend.
