It’s a pleasure to recommend Miss XXX to your graduate school.As I have taught her three courses,I can surely say that I know her very well.
It was in her second year when I first taught her.She is a hardworking student,and she never feels enough of knowledge.She always sits in the front of the classroom,and try her best not to miss any single word that I said.I knew from that moment that she is so eager to learn knowledge.However it surprised me when I find that her score of that course--Digital Electronic Technology is not very high.She didn’t let me down anyway,she got a high grade-82.5 for Microcomputer Principles and its Applications,another course that I taught.
I also have taught Miss XXX two experiments.One is an experiment included in class,and the other is like a course design.She chose to make a Temperature Control System in the course design.To make the system meet the actual needs,she borrowed many books about Microcontroller Theory and Applications,and Microcontroller Applications in C language to teach herself all the knowledge that is needed.And she is really smart,her assembly language,and C language is very good.There is no difficult for her to write the program in both assembly language and C language.But she did run into problems like the precisions of the temperature don’t fit the precision in buzzer,which made the buzzer not ring.And the way she wrote the program made herself hard to check.Working hard and carefully,she cracked the problems one by one.As it was a team work,after she done her part well,she also tried hard to help the others,and she tendered many insightful suggestions to improve the system,even thought some of them also betrayed some immaturity.Her performance in the experiments fully shows me her love of programming and information processing and the thirst for knowledge.It seems to me that she always set her ambition high,and I am really happy to know that she is going abroad to chase her dream.
In addition to her academic potential,she is also a cheerful and cooperative character.So in my point of view,she will adapt quickly to your academic environment and swiftly become an active member of your program.Judging by what I have seen of Miss XXX,I believe that she is well prepared to undertake her graduate studies at your university.I trust her combination of education,experiment experience and passion for her field,will warrant your serious consideration of her application.If you want any further assistance in your deliberations,please feel free to contact me.
