Once day a mouse went out to look for something to eat.He ran carelessly(粗心地) through some tall grass.He ran into strong lion (狮子).The lion caught the mouse.He held him tightly (紧紧地)and would not let him go.
The mouse asked the lion to let him go and said.“One day I will help you,” the lion laughed.“ How could a little mouse help a big and tall lion?”,he thought..“Very well” he said.“ I will let you go.But you must be more careful next time.” The mouse was very grateful (感恩的).“Thank you,” he said.“ You are very kind.”
The next month the mouse was again looking for something to eat.He saw the lion under a tree.He was tightly tied (绑)in a net of strong ropes(一捆绳子).He couldn’t move.
“ I will help you.” Said the mouse.
He bit (咬)through one of the ropes.His teeth were sharp (尖的).Then he bit through another ropes,and then another.So the lion was free.He was very pleased.“ Thank you.” He said.“ Thank you very much.”
