答：这是根据新托福写作模版之一：In general,the professor discusses the problem of …that the reading viewes in a contrary (opposing,different) angle.造的句子.结果没有造好,不知道想表达什么意思.
光看原句,这个viewed 与in an ...angle 一起构成过去分词短语作后置定语,修饰the problem of the reading passage= that is viewed in .angle,前面的名词短语的中心词是the problem,但分词又紧跟一个名词the reading passage,容易产生歧议和误解.从模版来看,应该是修饰the problem的,因为原来的定语从句中view的主语是the reading (passage),阅读材料.其实也就是材料的作者“看待”问题的角度.但原版中,这个in an opposing angel应该是修饰discusses的,就是说,教授用另一个角度来讨论这个阅读材料中所看待的问题.that the reading views是限制性定语从句（后置）,修饰前面的the problem of sth.而某个学生将这个定语从句改成了被动语态：that is viewed by the reading,然后去掉了by the reading,再然后只剩下一个单个的过去分词了,这就不能作后置定语了.作后置定语的,应是一个分词短语：viewed in ...angle (by the reading),这样一来,这个in ...angle成了原定语从句中的views,也就是现在这个过去分词viewed的状语了!有点不合语境：“一般地说,教授论述这个被（.）用另一个角度看待的读物的问题”.就不是“一般地说,教授用另一个角度来论述这个读物的问题”.
