从前,森林里有一对山羊兄弟,他们每天生活在一起,同吃,有福同享,有难同当,所以,很少有动物能攻击的了他们.
忽然有一天,森林里来了一只大灰狼.
看到山羊兄弟,大灰狼嘴里直流口水,心想：这又给我送来了一顿美餐.我一定要吃掉他们,但转念又一想,不行,这两只羊整天形影不离,团结的象一个人一样,凭我一个人的力量如果硬拼的话,是对付不了他们的,我得想个办法把他们分开,然后再一个一个的收拾他们,想到这里,大灰狼的脸上露出了一丝得意的笑容.
一天森林王国举行盛大宴会,邀请森林里所有的动物们前来参加.宴会上大灰狼拿着酒杯先走到山羊哥哥的桌子旁边弯下腰装作彬彬有礼的样子说：山羊大哥,今后我们都是这个森林王国里的好朋友啦!
看到大灰狼过来跟自己问好,山羊哥哥很礼貌地站起身来和大灰狼打招呼,并且让大灰狼在自己的旁边座下.
大灰狼假腥腥地和山羊哥哥喝过两杯酒以后,把嘴贴到山羊哥哥的耳边低声说：“大哥,你可要小心你的弟弟呀,他的野心很大,想要除掉你呀”.听到大灰狼的话,山羊哥哥笑着说：我跟我的兄弟这么好,他怎能干出那种事呢?”
大灰狼见山羊不相信自己,便又找来狐狸给他做证,狐狸走到山羊哥哥的跟前绘声绘色地说：“是啊,那天我从山羊弟弟的跟前路过的时候,发现山羊弟弟一个人在那里自言自语,说要除掉你独吞你们的家产呢!”
听了大灰狼和狐狸的话,山羊哥哥的思想动摇了,参加宴会的高兴的心情这时在他脸上一扫而光,他开始恨山羊弟弟了,心想,我整天都对你这么好,你为什么还要除掉我呢,看来我还是得防着点呀!
看到山羊哥哥一脸茫然的样子,大灰狼和狐狸诡异的笑了.
离开山羊哥哥的桌子,大灰狼又来到了山羊弟弟的桌子前,用同样的办法使山羊弟弟轻而易举地上了他的圈套.
宴会结束后,山羊兄弟闷闷不乐地各自回到家里,谁也不理谁.因为他们的心里都在想着大灰狼给他们说过的话,都开始不相信对方,并时刻防着对方了.没过多久,两只山羊就放弃了兄弟间的情意,各奔东西了.他们之间发生的这一切,大灰狼看在眼里,喜在心里.
不久,两只山羊就在这片森林中永远地消失了.
