第一，prove是主动，不是被动
第二，be to do有命中注定的意思
第三，我一开始的语感是用proved，可惜没有
第四，关键是答案选C
第五，答案也不是完全可以信任的

我觉得楼主的英语水平很高,这句句子最恰当的是proved.
