Hi Jack,
How have you been? I'm very well over here. I'm writing to you today to tell you about my new life as a senior high school student.
As you know, this is a fresh new start for us. Many people say that senior high school years are the most difficult times of a student's life. We have to work hard and keep fit to ensure that we can withstand the pressure of the college entrance examinations. As for me, I have adjusted myself well to this new life. I have made so many friends during this short period. Together, we will aspire each other to work hard.
But I must mention also that I do miss our old teachers and classmates. Having spent three years with them, we have developed deep feelings. They have been with me through all the difficulties in life. I am grateful to my teachers for their assistance and guidance. Without them, I won't have made it here today.
As for the future, I must work harder than I used to be. Three years later, we will be sitting for the college entrance examination. I don't have much time to waste. Therefore, I must make sure that I pay attention in class, be consistent in my work and try and improve myself. I hope you will do the same too! And I hope that we will both get into the university that we have been dreaming of.
